Mando are proud to announce that we have achieved the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) 27001 Information Security Standard.
ISO is the world’s largest developer and creator of standards that specify worldwide requirements for products, services, processes, materials and systems. ISO 27001 is the international standard developed specifically for Information Security Management Systems, requiring that a company uses a systematic approach to managing sensitive information and ensuring data security.
Mando have met the rigorous assessment criteria that displays our commitment to information security, and our continuous drive to improve our services, products and internal processes to guarantee strict governance of the data we manage.
The award of ISO 27001 standard adds an additional certification to our manifest, alongside our existing ISO 9001 and Cyber Essentials standards.
ISO 27001 comprises 10 detailed control categories including: asset classification controls, personnel security, physical security, communication management, security organisation, information security policy, access controls, system development, continuity planning and compliance.
Mando’s CEO Ian Finch, said: “Achieving the ISO 27001 accreditation is a fantastic accolade for Mando and the members of the team who work so hard to ensure we have been certified. Being ISO 27001 accredited reassures our clients that we are continually strengthening and refining our approach to managing sensitive information and ensuring the security of their data”.
